When we were dating in the mid-90's, there was a pizza joint off Connecticut Ave. in northwest DC called Cugini's that had the best pizza EVAR! We would sit for hours with friends gorging on pizza, slamming pitchers of beer, and making lifetime memories.

Well, they closed a long time ago and we haven't come across another pizza joint that's come close. And, hearing of a similar experience from friends missing their beloved Credo's, apparently we aren't the only ones yearning for a memorable local pizza experience.
